Jamie Hammond

Jamie’s entire career has been in the financial services and asset management industry, having started at a junior level and progressing through to various sales, management and board level / CEO positions. He has first-hand experience of working within all levels of global asset management organisations and across business units, to define and implement country, region and international distribution strategies.
After an extensive industry career, Jamie decided to become an independent consultant and iNED in early2025.
Prior to this, Jamie was CEO of iM Global Partner UK Ltd. andDeputy CEO of iM Global Partner (iMGP), an innovative multi-boutique business. Jamie joined iMGP in 2021 and was initially responsible for the EMEA region. In 2022he was given responsibility for its international (ex US) region.
Before this, Jamie spent 5years (2016- 2021) as the CEO of Alliance Bernstein Ltd. (UK) and Head of EMEAClient Group. He was also appointed as CEO for CPH Capital in Denmark, which was acquired by Alliance Bernstein in 2014.
In 2000, Jamie joined Fiduciary Trust International as the Sales &Marketing Director for Europe to expand their European business. However, FiduciaryTrust was acquired by Franklin Templeton Investments in 2001 and Jamie was subsequently appointed Country Head of Franklin's UK business. Jamie then became a Director of Franklin Templeton Investment Management Ltd. (UK) in 2006 and in2008 he was appointed as CEO. He also took on additional CEO roles for Franklin's other UK regulated entities in 2011 and 2012. In addition to holding the various CEO roles at Franklin, he was also Managing Director, Europe (2010 -2015) with responsibility for the Client Group and distribution across all client channels. Jamie left Franklin after 15 years, to join Alliance Bernstein in January 2016.
Prior to this, Jamie's formative years were spent at Hill Samuel and in 1996 he was appointed UKNational Sales Manager for Hill Samuel Asset Management.
