Sarah Wall
Senior Consultant
Sarah is a former credit fund manager at major pension funds and insurers, including Aviva and the PPF. She was also Head of Investment Risk at PIC. Her expertise spans credit risk, investment risk and governance, drawn from an executive career heading multi-billion pension funds across real estate, infrastructure and private credit. She currently Chairs the £6bn Affordable Homes Guarantee Scheme at Venn.
In her Executive career, Sarah has headed multi-billion pension funds invested in real estate and infrastructure private equity, private credit, private debt, real assets, structured finance, securitisations, credit LDI, funds, and public bonds. Previously, Sarah was a Director at Fitch Ratings and trained as an investment banker and then credit risk analyst.
Sarah served as a NED on the Board of the Social Housing Regulator, to support the flow of private capital to the sector during legislative change. In this role she oversaw developing the new IDA and VfM regimes and contributed cross-regulatory risk management expertise from PRA/FCA. At the time, Sarah was also Head of Investment Risk for PIC.
Sarah is a Chartered Fellow of CISI and holds a graduate diploma in law.
